Pre-Birthday Toes

I am really hoping my foot doctor appointment brings me good birthday news tomorrow!  Also, note to self: this summer I'm getting my tattoo fixed once and for all!  

Frosty?

Someday I'll wish I could remember what I was doing inside while everyone else was outside making this snowman.  I was listening to pandora play while making scalloped potatoes and ham for dinner.  Stuck inside mostly because of the walking boot on my foot and somewhat because of my desire to be alone with my music and my thoughts and my meal in the making.

Slow Down

I want to slow down, like the snail.  I want to show myself for all I am while I glide through life.  I shouldn't care if some find me beautiful while others see me as a worthless creature.  What is important is that they will see me exactly as I am, in all my glory, for better or for worse.  I stand to learn a lot from the snail....
